Apple Miso Porridge
Creamy Miso Porridge
The best combination of sweet and savoury there is...
All you need:
- 40g oats
- 1 apple (Elster or pink Lady)
- 1tbs Miso Paste (white one)
- A cup of plant based milk (I recommend almond)
- Tbsp of Manuka honey or agave syrup
- Peanut butter
- Sesame to drizzle
Cut the apple in little pieces and panfry with a bit of cinnamon until golden. Add a 2 tbs of water and a tbs of the miso paste. Cook for a bit and let simmer. Add the oats and the cup of milk and simmer until creamy. Fill in a bowl and drizzle with peanut butter, the Manuka honey or agave syrup and the remaining apples.
