These little colourful, vegan, gluten & sugar free donuts are not only a real eye catcher for birthdays and beautiful to look at, but also taste super nice…and that all without having to worry about any side effects.

All you need:

For the base:

  • 150g gluten free flour (e.g. buckwheat or rice flour)
  • 150ml plant milk (I like to take almond or coconut milk)
  • 80g coconut blossom sugar
  • 50g starch
  • 6 tbsp of agave nectar
  • 2 vanilla beans
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tbsp baking soda (natron)
  • ¼ tbsp apple cider

For the glaze:

  • 5 tbsp organic cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp agave nectar
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

How to?

Pre-heat the oven at 180° degrees. Mix flour, starch, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla. Stir milk, oil, apple cider, agave nectar and coconut sugar. Add to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth. Either place it into a donut form or fill into a piping bag and place rings onto a baking tray. Bake around 15-20min and leave to cool. Heat up the glaze ingredients over a water bath. Finally garnish with your favorite toppings! Enjoy:)
